📢 Job Opportunity: Learning Support Worker - Specialist Provision

📍 Location: Peterborough
💼 Salary: £24,000 Per annum
🕒 Hours: Up to 35 hours/week, 37 weeks/year (term-time)
📅 Contract: Term-Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEND needs to achieve their full potential?

We're looking for a Learning Support Worker to join our Specialist Provision team. You'll work closely with teaching staff to support students with a range of learning needs, enabling them to access the curriculum, build independence, and achieve success. Your work will be guided by EHCP outcomes, and you'll play a key role in promoting inclusive and student-centred education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clarify and simplify instructions for learners

• Support focus, motivation, and engagement

• Encourage independence and use of assistive technology

• Aid in developing literacy, numeracy, and study skills

• Provide support during exams and off-site activities

• Keep accurate support records and contribute to reviews

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting individuals with SEND

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for education and inclusion

You will need

• Right to work in the UK
• DBS Enhanced on the update service or willing to apply
• Relevant Experience in a similer role
