Contract: Full-Time, Temporary

Hours: 37 per week

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a prestigious Further Education college to recruit an experienced Bricklaying Technician on a temporary basis.

Role Responsibilities

The Bricklaying Technician will:

• Support the delivery of high-quality Brickwork and Construction programmes.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and resources.
• Assist lecturers in delivering practical demonstrations and assessments.
• Monitor student activity in workshops, ensuring safe and effective working practices.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards at all times.

Desirable Criteria

• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Brickwork/Construction (Level 3 preferred).
• Strong industry experience within Bricklaying and general construction.
• Experience supporting teaching, training, or mentoring in a workshop environment.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
