Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with a leading Further Education College based in Warwickshire. We are recruiting for an experienced Learner Services Administrator


Role: Learner Services Administrator
Location: Warwickshire
Start: ASAP
Job Type: Temporary - 37hrs Per Week

The Role:

The Learner Services Administrator will deliver a warm, professional, and efficient front‑of‑house service for the Learner Services department, while also collaborating within a team to maintain a high‑quality, customer‑focused centralised Learner Services function. Additionally, the postholder will handle a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

· To provide administrative support for the Head of Learner Services.
· Maintain an appropriate and efficient filing system
· Facilitate and support meetings as required including; booking rooms as requested, ordering refreshments if necessary, issuing agendas and taking and distributing minutes, ensuring that college procedures are adhered to.
· Produce reports and statistical information (e.g. departmental developments, learners' progress etc.) as required.
· Ensure the effective running and welcoming ambience of the Learner Services reception by answering and redirecting calls and messages efficiently and responding in a friendly, polite and efficient manner to staff and learner enquiries.
· Manage the Learner Services mailbox which includes assessing enquiries and signposting to relevant departments or responding where appropriate.
· Under the direction of the Head of Learner Services, produce a range of correspondence to be sent to learners/parents etc in a range of formats, working with Reception staff to arrange mail outs etc.
· Work with the Leaner Finance Team by assisting with the processing of the bursary application process, including carrying out an initial check of student bursary application forms, and chasing students for any missing information.
· Support the Student Enrichment Officer with the administration, organisation and collation of necessary paperwork for a wide range of activities, events and trips, ensuring college procedures are followed.

Education, Skills and Requirements:

· Hold a minimum of Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
· Have experience of working in a multi-functional cross-College team.
· Experience using electronic systems to manage and store information.
· Have experience of maintaining a caseload of young people and setting targets which address barriers to learning and support achievement.
