Job: Young Persons Support Worker - 16-25 year olds
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £16.50
Contract: Temporary to permanent - Full-time 12pm-8pm shift pattern
Are you passionate about helping young people achieve independence and reach their full potential? We're looking for a Young Persons Support Worker, based in Birmingham. to join a successful team and provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers young people to thrive.
What you'll do as a Young Persons Support Worker
- Support young people to develop life skills, resilience, and confidence for independent living.
- Co-produce support plans that build on individual strengths and aspirations.
- Provide regular support sessions and crisis intervention when needed.
- Help young people secure and sustain accommodation.
- Assist with financial stability - including benefits, rent, and debt management.
- Organise and lead activities, workshops, and resident consultations.
- Promote positive behaviours and help de-escalate challenging situations.
