ESTIMATOR - CIVIL ENGINEERING
Location: Dundee
Permanent | Salary £60 - £65K + package
Junior or Experienced Level

Morgan Hunt are working in partnership with a long-established civil engineering contractor based in Dundee.

Due to continued growth and project wins, they are looking to add a Junior or Experienced Estimator to join their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build or develop their estimating career within a supportive and technically strong environment.

🛠️ Role Responsibilities:
- Reviewing tender documentation and preparing accurate cost estimates
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and scope requirements for civil engineering works
-Preparing bills of quantities and take-offs from drawings
-Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations
-Working closely with project managers and commercial teams to handover successful bids
-Supporting bid submissions and pre-construction planning

👤 Ideal Candidate:
-Background in civil engineering or construction estimating (junior applicants welcome with relevant education or site/commercial experience)
-Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
-Comfortable working with drawings and technical specifications
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimation software (or willing to learn)
-A proactive communicator who enjoys working in a team-focused environment
