
AI & Data Literacy Programme Lead
Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector client to recruit an AI & Data literacy programme lead. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of the organisations data & AI literacy & culture roadmap. The main goal is to build data and AI awareness, understanding, and skills across the entire organisation, from junior staff to senior leaders, covering technical and non-technical roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategy to improve data and AI literacy in line with the organisations goals and AI policy principles (e.g. transparency, fairness, safety).
- Work with internal teams, external partners, and industry to co-create learning resources and embed literacy into operations and strategy.
- Design tailored learning experiences (e.g. workshops, e-learning) covering ethical AI use, regulatory compliance, and role-specific needs.
- Define success metrics, track impact, gather feedback, and continuously improve the programme.
Key Deliverables:
- Education: Help staff understand the value and use of data and AI in their roles.
- Roadmap Planning: Prioritise and plan literacy initiatives based on value and impact.
- Ethical Frameworks: Develop AI/data ethics guidelines for responsible use.
- Community Building: Grow internal communities of practice around data and AI.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data science, AI, and data literacy - especially how to explain them to non-experts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytics skills for reporting and programme monitoring.
Desirable:
- Experience designing data/AI literacy programmes in education or workplace settings.

Up to £700 Per Day

Hybrid role (London, Glasgow, Cardiff offices)
