Location: Dunstable
Hours: 21 hours per week
Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a leading FE College in Dunstable to recruit a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Business.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of Business subject areas, ensuring learners are engaged, motivated, and progressing successfully. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of business leaders through innovative teaching and strong industry connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Business units including Marketing, Finance, HR, Entrepreneurship, Management, and the Business Environment
- Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body standards
- Prepare learners for internal and external assessments, driving high achievement and progression
- Embed current industry knowledge and real-world contexts into teaching
- Support learners in developing employability skills, career aspirations, and progression opportunities
- Contribute to curriculum design, development, and quality assurance processes
- Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times
Timetable
- Teaching Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with a few hours on Friday
- Courses: Multiple Level 3 BTEC and T Level programmes
- Course Level: Primarily Level 3
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Subject specialism in Business with knowledge across multiple disciplines
- Experience teaching at Level 3 within FE or a similar setting
- Strong communication, organisation, and learner-focused skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and quality teaching
