
Registration Manager
Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulatory Body in their search for a Registration Manager to lead their registration function.
This is a permanent leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape and improve registration services and ensure the register is accurate, reliable, and customer-focused.
This is a varied position where you will manage the full cycle of registration processes, oversee the annual cycle of continuous professional development (CPD) for registrants, and act as the escalation point for complex cases and complaints. You will also provide advice on panel decisions, ensuring that applications and renewals are handled consistently, fairly and in line with regulatory standards. In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving systems and processes, embedding a culture of efficiency and service excellence within the team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader, confident in managing a small team in a high-demand service environment. You will combine strong customer service focus with operational oversight, ensuring both compliance and efficiency. Experience gained within a membership, regulatory or professional standards environment would be particularly valuable, enabling you to bring insight into the unique challenges and expectations of working within a regulated framework. Alongside this, you will bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to draft clear reports, and the judgement to make evidence-based decisions on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the registration team (2 Registration Officers, 1 Administrator), ensuring high performance and customer service standards.
· Oversee the annual cycle of CPD, including recording, auditing, and supporting registrants with compliance.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of registration applications and renewals, making clear and evidence-based decisions.
· Provide advice on complex cases and support panel decisions on registration.
· Act as escalation point for complaints relating to registration.
· Review and improve processes, systems and customer guidance to enhance efficiency and user experience.
· Produce reports, analysis and policy papers for governance committees and senior leadership.
· Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory frameworks, including data protection, equality and diversity, and business continuity.
Candidate Profile
· Proven experience leading and managing a team in a high-demand service environment.
· Strong understanding of registration, accreditation, compliance or professional standards processes.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and draft clear written reports.
· Strong decision-making skills, with a balanced, evidence-based approach.
· Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and maintain high service standards under pressure.
· IT literate, with strong CRM and Microsoft 365 skills.
· Experience of membership, regulatory or professional standards environments (desirable).
