Revenues Officer

Are you a Revenues Officer looking for work in North West London or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in North West London is looking to recruit a Revenues Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Proficiently use the Iworld/Northgate Version 6 ICT System
- Deliver an efficient, effective revenue collections and recovery service through the prompt and accurate processing of information
- Open, close and amend Council Tax Accounts
- Take payments and set up direct debits
- Apply discounts, reliefs, exemptions and disregards
- Handle moves in and out of properties
- Trace absconded Council Tax Payments
- Check and issue recovery notices in line with set timetables
- Determine liabilities
- Issue reminders and notices
- Handle summons arrangements
- Respond to enquiries from taxpayers by telephone, letter, email or in person
- Assist the Court taking officer to provide evidence in support of the Council's cases
