We are seeking a Temporary Maths Lecturer to join a thriving Further and Higher Education provider in Romford. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality Maths teaching and supporting learners to achieve their goals.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across a range of levels, ensuring learners are supported in their progression and development. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Maths curriculum.
- Prepare and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Monitor student attendance, progress and achievements, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, with recent teaching experience in Further or Higher Education.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
