We are recruiting for a Temporary Health & Social Care Lecturer to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to learners at a well-established Further and Higher Education provider in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to share their expertise with motivated students and help shape the future workforce in health and social care.
About the Role
You will plan, prepare and deliver Health & Social Care lessons across a range of levels, supporting learners in developing the knowledge and skills needed for career progression in the sector. With your experience and passion for the subject, you will play an active role in motivating students and ensuring their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Health & Social Care teaching in line with curriculum requirements.
- Plan schemes of work and develop resources to meet learner needs.
- Track student attendance, progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback.
- Support learners with guidance on career pathways and personal development.
- Ensure a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Relevant subject qualification(s) in Health & Social Care.
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care in Further or Higher Education.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
