We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pastry Lecturer to join the Hospitality and Catering department at a well-established Further Education and training College in Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of pastry chefs and share your passion, creativity and industry expertise with motivated learners.

Key Duties of a Pastry Lecturer:

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in pastry, confectionery and related subjects across a range of levels.
• Support and guide students to develop technical skills, creativity and professional standards required for success in the hospitality industry.
• Prepare learners for both practical and theoretical assessments in line with awarding body standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques and hygiene practices.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department.
• Ensure a safe learning environment that promotes excellence and progression.

About the Pastry Lecturer:

• Qualified to Level 3 (or higher) in Patisserie and Confectionery or a related discipline.
• Proven industry experience as a pastry chef, patissier or similar role.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a passion for imparting knowledge and inspiring learners.
• A dedication to guiding students to achieve their goals and develop employability skills.
