🧩 Learning Support Assistant - Harrow

💷 £16 - 19 per hour | Temp - Ongoing | Full-time or Part-time | Start ASAP

We're working with a welcoming college in Harrow seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, starting immediately.

You'll be supporting learners aged 16-19 within the classroom, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. This includes assisting with lessons, providing one-to-one or small group support, and ensuring students feel confident and engaged in their studies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to learners with additional needs

• Assist students in understanding lesson content and completing tasks

• Promote positive learning behaviours and independence

• Work closely with teaching staff to adapt materials and activities

• Support with note-taking, organisation, and classroom engagement

Requirements:

• Experience supporting students in an educational setting (college or school)

• Understanding of learning difficulties and/or special educational needs (SEN)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
