Financial Accountant

Morgan Hunt is pleased to be supporting a large Public Sector organisation, to recruit a Financial Accountant, on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be worked on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office each week.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the Accounts Receivable function, leading on sales invoicing, banking relationships, reconciliations and over see the raising off accounting journals.
• Reviewing and improving the cash and bank management processes to allow business continuity.
• Support the monthly, interim and full year accounts and liaise with the National Audit Office on year end accounts.

We are looking for someone that is fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) accountant with a good technical financial skill set and have managed an Accounts Receivable function within the public sector.
