Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a public sector organisation who are looking to welcome 2 category managers of a full time and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full tender process from preparation and evaluation to award in line with policy and legislation.
• Lead supplier negotiations, review contract terms, and drive commercial value.
• Oversee supplier relationships, contract performance, and compliance.
• Provide expert procurement advice and support to colleagues across the organisation.
• Develop market insight to inform sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote best practice and ethical procurement standards.
• Work collaboratively with finance, procurement, and operational teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full or working towards Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) membership.
• Proven procurement experience in the public or private sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK public procurement law (including GPA and Scottish regulations).
• Experience of leading or influencing teams and stakeholders.
