Head of Mathematics (Maternity Cover)

Long-term supply role: January - July 2026

£225 - 350 per day; depending on experience level

Are you an inspiring and ambitious Maths leader looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a passionate and driven professional to lead a successful Mathematics Department during a maternity cover period from January to July 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a school recently graded 'Good' in all areas (Ofsted, March 2024). You will be joining a dedicated team who work collaboratively to deliver outstanding learning experiences and ensure excellent outcomes for all students.

As Head of Mathematics, you will provide strong leadership, drive continuous improvement and foster a love of learning across the department. You will inspire both staff and students through your enthusiasm for the subject and your commitment to high standards.

We welcome applications from experienced Heads of Department or talented Maths Teachers with QTS, a good level of teaching experience and some experience of taking on leadership roles within a Maths department.
