We're currently supporting a welcoming and inclusive college in East London who are looking for an experienced and passionate ESOL Lecturer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

You'll be responsible for delivering engaging ESOL lessons to learners aged 16-19 and/or adult learners, supporting them to develop their English language skills and achieve their qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality ESOL teaching to groups of learners at various levels

• Plan and prepare lessons and resources in line with curriculum requirements

• Support learners to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills

• Track learner progress and provide regular feedback and support

• Contribute to learner reviews and maintain accurate records of achievement

Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

• ESOL subject specialism or equivalent qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, TESOL)

• Experience teaching ESOL learners in an FE or adult education setting

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
