Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities? We are working with a SEND Statutory Service, which is looking for a dedicated professional to join us as SEND Casework Officer, based in the Isle of Wight. This is a chance to take on a role that truly shapes lives across the Island, ensuring that young people receive the right support at the right time.
In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of children and young people who are undergoing assessment or who already have Education, Health and Care Plans. You'll be responsible for coordinating the EHC process, drafting high-quality, person-centred plans, contributing to decision-making panels, and working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes. You will also take the lead on complex cases, including those involving vulnerable children, and ensure statutory duties are met within required timescales.
We are seeking applicants who bring enthusiasm, resilience, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children with SEND. Experience is valuable, but a positive approach, teamwork, and alignment with our values are just as important.
This is a long-term temp role which commences asap. Therefore early applications are encouraged.
Our pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
