A local authority in in the Public Sector and Government is seeking an experienced Right to Buy Officer to join their team in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused housing professional to deliver a high-quality Right to Buy and leasehold service in a flexible, customer-focused environment.

As a Right to Buy Officer, you will manage the full life cycle of Right to Buy applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance with legislation, and excellent customer service. You will work with internal teams, valuers, and external partners to meet statutory deadlines and support effective service delivery across North West London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Right to Buy applications in line with legislation and statutory targets.
• Manage post-sale enquiries, deeds of postponement, and related leasehold matters.
• Provide clear advice to residents on all aspects of the Right to Buy process.
• Liaise with internal teams, external valuers, and contractors to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate performance and case records for reporting.
• Support income management through service charge and arrears monitoring.
• Assist in team support, customer service, and service improvement activities.

About You:

• Knowledge of Right to Buy legislation and the Housing Act 1985.
• Experience within housing, leasehold management, or a similar role.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Commitment to equality, customer care, and ethical working practices within the Public Sector and Government.
