I'm working with an organisation within the Public Sector and Government, looking for a Neighbourhood Patrol Officer to join their enforcement and community safety team in North West London. This is a front line role focused on protecting public spaces, tackling anti-social behaviour, and improving neighbourhood safety across North West London.
As a Neighbourhood Patrol Officer, you will provide a visible, uniformed presence, carrying out targeted patrols, enforcing environmental and community protection legislation, and supporting joint operations with police and partner agencies across your designated patch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patrols on foot, bike, or vehicle to address ASB, environmental crime, and licensing breaches.
- Use enforcement tools including fixed penalty notices, warnings, evidence gathering, and disruption activity.
- Support community policing efforts and contribute to operations in hotspots.
- Act as a professional witness, prepare reports, and attend court when required.
- Maintain accurate records in line with enforcement procedures and PACE requirements.
- Provide reassurance, guidance, and visible support to residents and local businesses in the Public Sector and Government environment.
- Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends.
About You:
- Experience in an enforcement, community safety, or public-facing role.
- Confident engaging with the public and managing conflict.
- Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
- IT literate and comfortable using handheld enforcement tools.
- A reliable team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality services within the Public Sector and Government.
