The Role:
Our client is looking for an inspired and committed Lecturer to join our team. You will design, deliver, and assess high-quality early years educational programmes, supporting students to achieve outstanding outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping and refining our curriculum, assessment methods, and learner progression pathways, ensuring that courses meet regulatory requirements and embody best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in Animal Care across L1 - L3.
- Assess, monitor, and report on learners' progress; provide timely feedback.
- Participate in staff development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Up to date knowledge of the Ofsted and QAA for Higher Education Inspectorate process.
Education, Skills and Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Qualification, i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements).
- GCSE A* - C in English and Maths qualifications (Grades 9 - 4) or equivalent.
- TAQA (401 and 402) or equivalent (or a commitment to work towards in line with contractual requirements).
- Experience teaching within Further Education or similar educational settings
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and current industry practices
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
