Arborist Lecturer

Arborist Lecturer / Instructor (Temporary - ongoing)

We are seeking an Arborist Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and practical training in arboriculture in Enfield. This is a full-time, temporary role starting January.


This role would suit a qualified tree surgeon with experience teaching apprentices or working in a training/education environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom-based and practical arboriculture training
• Teach and support apprentices and learners at varying skill levels
• Ensure training meets industry standards and health & safety requirements
• Share current industry best practice through practical experience

Essential Requirements

• Strong practical background as a tree surgeon / arborist
• Experience teaching apprentices or learners (formal or informal)
• Relevant arboriculture qualifications (e.g. Level 3 or above preferred)
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of arboriculture techniques and safety standards
• Current DBS or willingness to apply
