People Policy & Compliance Lead - Education Sector - Uxbridge - c£35,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a People Policy Specialist to join a leading education organisation.
Reporting into the People Policy and Compliance Lead you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the organisation's people policies, processes and compliance frameworks. Your key accountabilities will include:-
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop, review and update their policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Implementing processes to monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, i.e. safeguarding, data protection, and equality laws risk
- Producing reports on compliance status for senior management, identifying key trends, risks, and areas requiring improvement
- Being first point of contact for compliance, policy, and complaints-related queries from staff, and senior management, and external bodies
You should have a track record of developing and implementing effective people policies, processes and compliance frameworks. A strong working knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, Equality and Diversity laws needs to be combined with an ability to analyse data and create reports. GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above is essential.
