Location: Birmingham

Contract: [Full-time / Part-time / Temporary

Salary: £45 Per Hour



We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Plumbing Lecturer to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality training to learners studying plumbing and related construction courses, helping them develop both practical skills and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical plumbing lessons
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning materials
• Ensure a safe workshop and classroom environment
• Support learners with varying abilities and learning needs
• Contribute to course development and quality improvement

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Plumbing or a related trade
• Relevant industry experience in plumbing
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for education and learner development

Desirable

• Assessor or IQA qualification
• Experience teaching apprentices or college learners
• Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations
