Health & Social Care Lecturer

We are excited to offer a permanent teaching opportunity within the Health & Social Care curriculum area at our institution. This position also involves teaching within Sport and Uniformed Services and offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' development at various levels.




Job Details:

• Role: Health & Social Care Lecturer (Permanent)
• Location: Kingston upon Thames KT1 2AQ
• Salary: £39,000 - £47,000 per annum
• Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching across a range of levels including Level 2 & 3 BTEC's, T-Level, and Level 4/5 HNC/D courses.
• Designing and delivering engaging coursework and assessments.
• Providing tutorial support and helping students achieve and exceed their target grades.
• Participating in internal and external verification activities.
• Adhering to college policies and standards, ensuring the safety of students and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A teaching qualification (PGCE or CertEd) or a willingness to obtain one.
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care, and ideally, experience with Uniformed Services or Sport.
• Industry experience in Health & Social Care is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
• Passion for education, student success, and professional development.
