We're supporting a welcoming and well-established college in Wolverhampton that is seeking a passionate Music Lecturer to join their team on a part-time basis.

You'll be teaching Music to 16-19-year-old learners, supporting them to develop their musical skills, theoretical knowledge, and confidence to progress in further education or the creative industries. The college offers a supportive, well-resourced environment with a strong focus on learner engagement and achievement.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging practical and theory-based music lessons

• Supporting learners with composition, performance, and music technology (where applicable)

• Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback

• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities

Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Music or a related subject

• Experience teaching Music in an FE, college, or similar education setting

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
