Morgan Hunt are delighted to work with one of our great clients in Dundee who are looking to welcome a new Procurement Manager on a full time and permanent basis.
Joining a successful team, you will ensure all procurement needs are met in accordance with current public sector legislations and be the procurement lead within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Procurement function, ensuring legal compliance and best value.
- Manage tenders, contracts, supplier performance and the contracts register.
- Lead, develop and support the procurement team.
- Work with external stakeholders to deliver collaborative procurement.
- Develop and maintain the Procurement Strategy, managing legislative change and risk.
- Produce procurement data, reports and insights to support senior decision-making.
Personal Specification
- Public Sector Procurement experience needed (recent or in the past)
- CIPS (any level)
- Motivated and high professional standards
- Excellent communicator across different stakeholders
- Ability to work successfully in a team
- Desirable if you have led and managed a team currently/previously
