GCSE English Lecturer

We are currently seeking a dedicated English Lecturer to join our team, teaching GCSE English (AQA) across multiple sites in Derby. The position is available for immediate start and offers competitive pay. Please see the details below:

Job Title: English Lecturer - GCSE English (AQA)

Location: Across all Derby (DE1)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (see timetable below)

Start Date: Immediate

Travel: Car driver required due to travel across sites

Weekly Timetable:

• Monday: 4.5 hours
• Tuesday: 4.5 hours
• Wednesday: 4.5 hours
• Thursday: 4.5 hours
• Friday: 4.5 hours

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Delivering and assessing GCSE English resit courses (AQA)
• Planning, marking, and assessing coursework
• Attending team meetings and contributing to the department's success

Qualifications Required:

• Degree in English (preferred)
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience delivering GCSE English resit courses (AQA) is advantageous
