Job Title: Professional Practice Officer - Early Years
Location: Walsall
Contract: Long-term Temporary
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Professional Practice Officer in Early Years to join a well-established college in Walsall on a long-term temporary, full-time basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery and quality of Early Years provision. You will work closely with teaching staff, learners, and placement providers to ensure high standards of professional practice and compliance with Early Years frameworks and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and monitor learners undertaking Early Years placements

• Liaise with employers and placement providers to ensure quality and safeguarding standards

• Observe learners in practice and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Support learners' professional development and progression

• Ensure compliance with relevant Early Years and Ofsted standards

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Early Years or a related field

• Recent experience within Early Years education or childcare settings

• Strong knowledge of Early Years frameworks and safeguarding

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
