Employer Engagement Officer - Worcestershire

Morgan Hunt have partnered with a national Charity who are recruiting for an Employer Engagement Officer in Worcestershire. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £33,000. The primary function of the role is to source work experience opportunities for special needs learners aged 16 and over. The role will be based on site at either the centre or clients premises 5 days per week. The primary function of this role will be to source work experience placements for special needs students enrolled on Employability courses. This role will require travel across Worcestershire therefore the successful candidate must be able to drive.



The Employer Engagement Officer will be responsible for:

• engaging with employers to source vacancies for special needs learners enrolled on Employability courses
• working with a team of Job Coaches to ensure learners are progressing on time
• preparing learners for interviews with organisations
• collaborating with Tutors to develop an understanding of each learners career inspirations
• capturing data to meet Ofsted requirements

The Employer Engagement Officer will need to have:

• previous experience in working engaging with employers to source work experience opportunities within further education
• worked with learners with special needs or learning disabilities or knowledge within this area
• knowledge of employment and education programmes
• a successful track record of achieving targets
• a full UK driving licence and access to their own car
• a minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
