Supported Housing Worker

Job Title: Supported Housing Worker / Housing Support Assistant

Location: Locations across London

Contract Length: Short term contract - 3 months to 6 months

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

£16.50PH PAYE

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Supported Housing Worker to join our frontline team supporting residents in sheltered and retirement leasehold housing. You will play a key role in ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and able to maintain independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to residents in supported housing.
• Promote resident wellbeing, independence, and safety.
• Work closely with colleagues and housing management teams.
• Respond to resident queries and provide practical assistance when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required before submission.
• Experience working in supported housing, housing management, or a similar frontline support role is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently as part of a lone-working environment.

Health & Safety:

This role involves lone working. A lone-working policy is in place, and staff will be issued with a lone-worker safety device to ensure their safety while on duty.
