🏠 TST Caseworker - Tenancy Sustainment & Floating Support

Location: PAN London

Pay Rate: £17.14 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Contract: Temporary (Approx. 2 months)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM)




🔎 Overview

Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a TST Caseworker to join a dynamic service supporting individuals aged 18+ who are recovering from homelessness.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality tenancy sustainment and floating support, helping clients maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and successfully move forward into long-term accommodation.




💼 Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 25-28 clients, delivering regular key working sessions
• Develop strengths-based, outcome-focused support plans with clients
• Carry out risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies
• Support clients with debt reduction, budgeting, and maximising income
• Work in partnership with statutory and non-statutory services, including accompanying clients to appointments
• Support access to health services, addressing physical and mental health needs
• Promote social inclusion, including access to education, training, and employment opportunities
• Deliver and facilitate group sessions, activities, and drop-ins
• Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and legislation

✅ Requirements

• Experience or strong understanding of working with:
  • Homelessness / housing support
  • Mental & physical health
  • Substance misuse (drug & alcohol)
  • Safeguarding and risk management
  • Tenancy sustainment (arrears, ASB, budgeting)
• Knowledge of housing pathways and move-on routes (PRS, social housing, supported housing)
• Ability to deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based support and motivational interventions
• Experience supporting clients to move into and sustain accommodation
• Strong partnership working and communication skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently (including lone working)
