Job Coach - College Setting
📍 Location: Northampton
⏰ Hours: 37 hours per week (term-time, 36 weeks)
💼 Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Job Coach to join a supportive college environment, working with young people with additional needs to help them progress into meaningful employment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting learners both in college and within workplace settings.

The Role:

• Support students with additional needs to access and sustain work placements
• Work closely with employers to create inclusive and supportive environments
• Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring using structured teaching approaches
• Carry out job matching, workplace assessments, and risk assessments
• Support learners to develop independence, including travel training
• Build strong relationships with employers and external partners

About You:

• Experience working with young people with additional needs or SEND
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships with employers and stakeholders
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
• A full driving licence (desirable)
