SEND Teaching Assistant: London Borough of Ealing
We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants in the London Borough of Ealing to start immediately. You do not need previous experience in the role; just the approach and mindset to draw on your relevant skills and experience and make a difference for children with SEND.

What does the role involve?
Supporting children with a range of different needs in experiencing and enjoying the best education possible
Displaying immense empathy and emotional intelligence; to understand the specific challenges your students will face
Supporting students both one-to-one and in groups
Liaising with school colleagues, other relevant professionals and families to become the ultimate team player in delivering high educational outcomes
Being a champion of inclusion; putting student progress and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do
Playing a lead role in the delivery of individualised education plans
What skills and experiences would be useful in this role?
Experience of working as a SEND Teaching Assistant within schools is useful but not essential
Experience of working with vulnerable people in related settings; such as health & social care, NHS, youth work, charity sector, mental health or any other relevant environment
A degree in any subject is useful but not essential
Experience of supporting friends or family members with SEND; or through voluntary work

£500.00 - £550.00 per week pay; depending on experience level
