About the role: Where finance meets people
This Finance Business Partner role sits within a Scotland based housing organisation where the focus isn't just on producing numbers, but on helping teams understand and use them.
You will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the business, supporting services by providing clear, practical financial insight that supports day-to-day decisions and long-term planning.
What you'll be doing
- Produce monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis
- Work directly with budget holders and service managers
- Explain financial performance across areas such as income, staffing, and service costs
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help identify trends and support decision-making across teams
- Present financial information to groups of stakeholders across the organisation
- Build strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues
Who we're looking for
Must have:
- Experience producing management accounts and financial reports
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain finance clearly
- Confidence working with and presenting to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working in a team-based, collaborative environment
Nice to have:
- Experience in housing or a regulated environment
- Exposure to business partnering or stakeholder-focused roles
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or similar) or working towards
