Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £40-50k per annum
Contract Type: Permanent and Temporary available
About the Role:
We are working with a range of Further Education Colleges across London and the Home Counties who are seeking skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturers. These roles involve delivering high-quality teaching and training to learners across a variety of programmes, supporting them in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for careers in the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, practical plumbing lessons across Level 1-3 programmes
- Plan, prepare, and deliver teaching in line with curriculum and awarding body standards
- Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and inspire learners in an FE setting
- Commitment to safeguarding and student success
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching in Further Education
