🏫 About the Role

We are working with a well-established Further Education college who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE).

This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their GCSE Maths and Functional Skills qualifications, while contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking curriculum team.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE Maths and Functional Skills
• Assess, track and monitor student progress
• Support learners to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to curriculum development
• Work collaboratively with curriculum teams
• Promote safeguarding, equality, and student wellbeing
• Participate in quality assurance and college activities

✅ About You

• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
