Job Coach - SEN / Supported Internships

📍 Northamptonshire (Moulton)
💼 Full-time | 37 hours per week (Term-time: 36 weeks, 0.78 FTE)
💰 £19,798 (pro rata)

🏫 About the Role

We are working with a leading Further Education college who are looking to appoint a dedicated Job Coach to support young people with additional needs into meaningful work placements.

This is a highly rewarding, hands-on role where you will support learners both in college and in the workplace, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to transition into paid employment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Support learners with additional needs to access and succeed in supported internships and work placements
• Carry out job matching, job analysis, and risk assessments
• Deliver coaching using systematic instruction techniques
• Provide ongoing support and mentoring both in college and the workplace
• Work closely with employers to create inclusive and supportive environments
• Support learners to develop independence, including travel training where appropriate
• Monitor progress and support successful transitions into employment
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times

✅ About You

• Experience supporting young people with SEN / learning disabilities
• Knowledge of supported employment or employability programmes
• Strong ability to build relationships with employers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexible approach to support learners in different environments

💡 Desirable:

• Training in Systematic Instruction (TSI)
• Experience with travel training
• Full UK driving licence
