💷 £15-£17 per hour + Holiday Pay
📅 3-Month Contract (with potential extension)
🕘 Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
🔹 About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Outreach Support Worker to join a well-established homelessness service in Surbiton. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both community outreach and office-based support, helping individuals with a range of needs including those within the rough sleeping pathway.
You will manage a mixed caseload, supporting clients to access accommodation, sustain tenancies, and improve overall wellbeing.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outreach support to individuals in the community, including rough sleepers
- Manage and support a caseload of clients with varying needs
- Carry out risk assessments and develop tailored support plans
- Support clients with housing applications, benefits, and accessing services
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records and case notes
🔹 Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- 2 outreach shifts per week (including one late shift)
- Remaining days based in office/hub
🔹 Requirements
- Proven outreach experience (essential)
- Experience working within homelessness, housing support, or rough sleeping services
- Strong caseload management and key working skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
- Ability to engage hard-to-reach clients
🔹 Additional Information
- Immediate start required (within 2 weeks)
- Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension
