Plasterer

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a large maintenance organisation working across domestic and commercial properties.



This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term work with a well-established maintenance team.



Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out internal plastering works including:
  • Skimming
  • Patch plastering
  • Bonding and repairs
• Removing damaged wall and floor tiles where required
• Completing external rendering and patch repairs
• Preparing surfaces prior to plastering and decorating
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Working independently and as part of a wider maintenance team

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a plasterer within maintenance or social housing environments
• Ability to carry out a range of multi-trade tasks
• Experience with both internal and external repair works
• Full UK driving licence - Van provided.
• Reliable, hard-working and able to manage workload effectively

When you are working on this job, you need to make sure potential candidates know that it is not just internal plastering, they might be doing some rendering repairs, taking tiles off etc and they will also be responsible for putting clothes poles in within back greens etc, they have determined this is a "wet trade" as they mix small amounts of concreate.
