About the Role:
A leading training provider specialising in vocational education is currently seeking a dedicated Carpentry Lecturer to join their team. This role involves delivering high-quality training in carpentry to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective carpentry lessons to students.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals.
- Contribute to the development of course materials and resources.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.
- Relevant vocational qualification in Carpentry.
- Teaching or training experience within the construction sector is desirable.
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33/D34) or willingness to obtain.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS) is an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven industry experience in carpentry.
- Experience in delivering training or education is preferred.
