Job Title: Nursery Room Leader (Temp)

Location: Chelmsford

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are dedicated to fostering an enriching environment for children aged 1 to 5 years. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a vital role in promoting the development and learning of young children. This position requires a genuine passion for early childhood education, alongside the ability to plan and lead a curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and interests of each child. You will also mentor staff, ensuring high-quality practices are maintained within the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement a rich, engaging curriculum tailored to children's individual needs.
• Mentor and guide staff to foster a positive and calm environment.
• Demonstrate high-quality practices as a role model in the nursery.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered to at all times.
• Involve in daily tasks such as nappy changing.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
• First Aid and Safeguarding certifications are preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Experience in mentoring or leading a team is advantageous.
