About the Role / Job Summary:
A well-regarded institution is seeking a Success Coach to support students in achieving their academic potential. This role involves mentoring and guiding students, helping them develop personal resilience and succeed in their studies. You'll work collaboratively with curriculum teams and student services to provide holistic support, ensuring learners receive the necessary academic and motivational assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group coaching to support student progress and goal-setting.
- Monitor student attendance and engagement, implementing intervention strategies as needed.
- Deliver classroom-based sessions on key personal development topics.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams and safeguarding services to address barriers to success.
- Promote a positive college culture, ensuring all students feel included and valued.
- Support students in developing essential life skills and employability.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in education, coaching, or a related field.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or a similar support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to promoting student welfare and inclusion.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with personal development and academic support strategies.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating student progress.
