The Role
As an Electrical IQA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of assessment practices across Electrical Installation programmes. Working closely with assessors and curriculum teams, you will support compliance, quality improvement, and learner success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting internal quality assurance activities across Electrical Installation programmes
- Sampling assessment decisions and providing developmental feedback to assessors
- Supporting standardisation activities and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with awarding body and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate IQA records and documentation
- Preparing for and supporting external quality assurance visits
- Working collaboratively with curriculum and apprenticeship teams to drive high standards
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline
- A recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification
- Experience carrying out Internal Quality Assurance within Further Education, apprenticeships, or work-based learning
- Strong knowledge of awarding body requirements and quality processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A commitment to delivering outstanding learner outcomes
