Lisieux Trust is seeking an inspiring and driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO). If you're a strategic leader with a passion for improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism, this is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic charity setting.
About Lisieux Trust
Lisieux Trust is a specialist charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults to live safe, meaningful and fulfilling lives. We operate three care homes and eight supported living properties across North Birmingham, supporting 60 people with a workforce of 114 employees. All services are rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced, values-driven leader capable of operating strategically while remaining visible and engaged with staff, people supported and families. They must be able to lead through change, build trust quickly and provide stability following a period of leadership transition.
The role requires a leader who can balance multiple priorities: driving organisational development, strengthening co-production, supporting a refreshed Board and maintaining strong governance. Emotional intelligence, resilience and the ability to unite stakeholders behind a shared vision will be critical.
Essential Criteria:
· Proven senior leadership experience, ideally gained within a values-driven charity or not-for-profit organisation, with a track record of delivering organisational growth and impact.
· Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience of strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management and overseeing property portfolios, capital projects or operational services.
· Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to inspire colleagues, engage stakeholders, represent the organisation publicly and act as an effective ambassador.
· Demonstrated ability to make sound judgements, manage organisational risk and resolve complex challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment.
· Experience of securing income through fundraising, bid writing, grant applications or partnership development, supporting long-term organisational sustainability.
· A compassionate and emotionally intelligent leader with a genuine commitment to supporting adults with disabilities, ideally bringing knowledge of autism services and an understanding of relevant care and regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements, the Care Act 2014 and Health and Safety legislation.
