Adjudicator
Morgan Hunt are currently working with a National Dispute Resolution Organisation in their search for an Interim Adjudicator to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced complaints, investigations or adjudication professional to work on complex and high-risk casework, while playing a key role in quality assurance and continuous improvement across the wider casework function.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent reviews of complex complaint decisions, ensuring outcomes are fair, evidence-based and aligned to organisational quality standards. Acting as a second line of defence, you will assess the quality, reasoning and methodology of previous casework, determining whether decisions remain appropriate or whether further investigation and review is required.
A key part of the role will involve reviewing high-risk and complex complaints, analysing evidence, identifying lessons learned and providing feedback to improve decision-making quality across the organisation. Beyond individual cases, you will contribute to wider continuous improvement activity by identifying trends, knowledge gaps and opportunities to strengthen processes, guidance and training.
You will work closely with colleagues across investigations, adjudication and quality functions, helping to ensure consistency, fairness and robustness in decision-making. The role requires someone who can quickly familiarise themselves with internal quality frameworks and confidently apply them when reviewing casework and supporting service improvement.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in complaints, investigations, adjudication or regulatory casework, alongside strong analytical skills and excellent judgement. Experience within social housing, ombudsman services, regulation or similarly complex complaint-handling environments would be highly advantageous.
