Repairs & Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual to join our Maintenance Team. This is a short term role to support the delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service for tenants. The role will last around 4 weeks and would be to start ASAP.

Working closely with customers, contractors and internal colleagues, you will play a key role in coordinating repairs, monitoring performance, maintaining compliance records and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and processing repair requests and coordinating works with contractors
  
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving enquiries and complaints effectively
  
• Monitoring repair progress and contractor performance to ensure service standards are met
  
• Maintaining accurate records and updating repairs and property management systems
  
• Supporting compliance activities including gas safety administration and statutory follow-up actions
  
• Supporting customer satisfaction activities and continuous service improvement
  
  
  
  
  You will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience working in a housing, repairs or maintenance environment is essential.
