About the Role: A leading educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and training. They are seeking an Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering engaging and effective teaching in engineering, contributing to the development of students' skills and knowledge in this vital sector. This role specifically involves workshop practicals and working with CNC machines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in engineering subjects.
- Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and compliance with industry standards.
- Support and mentor students in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain teaching excellence.
What We Are Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in engineering or equivalent.
- A higher education degree in a relevant subject.
- A teaching qualification or a willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant knowledge and experience with CNC Machines
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in engineering practice.
- Previous teaching experience in further education is desirable.
- Experience in curriculum development is an advantage.
