Are you an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer looking for a new opportunity this September?

We are currently recruiting for temporary Health & Social Care Lecturers to join leading Further Education colleges across Cambridge and Bedford. These roles offer the opportunity to make a real impact on learners while enjoying the flexibility of temporary teaching assignments.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Health & Social Care lessons to FE learners, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and progress into higher education or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Health & Social Care courses across Levels 1-5.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Track learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Support students with academic and pastoral development.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
• Previous teaching, training, or industry experience within Health & Social Care.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
