About the Role

A London based homelessness charity are seeking an experienced Floating Support Worker to join our Aspire Service on a fixed-term contract of approximately two months. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and adaptable support professional who can quickly take ownership of a busy caseload and provide high-quality, person-centred support across London.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a caseload of approximately 25 service users.
* Deliver holistic, face-to-face support to individuals with low to high-level support needs.
* Support clients to secure and maintain their tenancies within partner housing services.
* Promote independence, well being, and positive outcomes through tailored support planning.
* Conduct community-based visits across London.
* Complete support plans, risk assessments, and accurate case records.
* Participate in duty coverage, team meetings, and general administration.

Working Arrangements

* Fixed-term contract for approximately 2 months.
* Pan-London service with extensive travel across Zones 3-6.
* Approximately 80% community-based work.
* Main office based in Dalston with fortnightly team meetings.
* Administrative duties can be completed from either the Dalston or Peckham office.

Essential Requirements

* Experience in Floating Support, Housing Support, Tenancy Sustainment, or a similar role.
* Ability to manage a demanding and varied caseload.
* Experience supporting individuals with complex and multiple needs.
* Knowledge of person-centred support planning and risk management.
* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and travel extensively across London.

Desirable

* Knowledge of housing-related support services.
* Experience working with housing providers, local authorities, and partner agencies.
* Understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
